Preposterously vast in scope and wonderfully accomplished in the small details, this is a flight sim for ‘big picture’ types. Xbox Cloud (also known as Xbox Cloud Gaming) is Microsoft’s online Cloud gaming service which allows you to play Xbox games on a Mac in a browser with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. There’s a stoic satisfaction to just nailing a docking procedure or successfully navigating the yawning black infinity and landing at the hunk of rock you actually intended to. Suffice to say the combat gets very intense with a good HOTAS setup, and even moreso if you’re in VR.īut there's so much more to do. What we have flown is, using one m1 mini only, running both Parallels 17 and Windows, is GLEIMS private pilots course (27 lessons). Granted, you can’t fly over your house, but what you can do is genuinely too varied to detail. My two grandsons and I are building a flight simulator and are in the early stages since integrating two mac mini m1s to run a complex seven display set up, has been difficult. They did, after all, manage a 1:1 scale replica of our entire milky way in Elite Dangerous, and they released it before 2014 was over and done with. Some of these simulators are on Steam (a video game platform).
